Cyber Security & Digital Forensics

Participants will achieve the technical skills that would enable them to secure their home router and connected devices against hackers, as well as achieve skills that would help them progress to a level 2 qualification in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, and other relevant employability skills.

There is real evidence to suggest that the use of practical, hands-on training in router maintenance would improve and engage:

  • Online safety of people and data;
  • Critical Thinking – analyse a story by breaking it down into small parts to improve digital skills understanding and retention;
  • Imagination – Spark the imagination to create a flow of ideas on online security of people and data;
  • Literacy – Associate words with practical work to enhance understanding and practice of technical digital skills; Knowledge Retention – Increase student performance and knowledge retention through active

The project would strengthen the need to unlock the potential in individuals, by motivating, inspiring and supporting our young people to gain confidence and self-belief in securing a career in this field.
