Launch into Employability

The main objective of this course was to increase participants’ confidence in all areas of employability.  To help those who had placed themselves as furthest away from the job market and felt they were “stuck” without the knowledge or skills to make the next move.  Incorporating many aspects such as interviewing skills, team work and on job training as well as an accredited qualification, our goal was to open their eyes to new experiences, allowing them to find hidden skills and motivating them to take the next step on their own employability path.

6 of the 8 that participated in the course gained their level 2 in Food and Hygiene.

2 participants were successful at the first stage interview with the employer and asked back for a second interview.

All 8 participants  attended a one-day taster work experience with Medway heritage centre.
